I missed playing Splatoon lately and so I decided to look up the game online, I was hoping to buy it when I got distracted by the character design. I really like the unusual design of the Inklings, their big eyes and fish like characteristics are so quirky, I had to design my own inkling!
I thought it would be a fun idea to look into deep sea creatures for my character design and one of my favourites has always been the Anglerfish, they are very creepy animals but they also have incredible characteristics that translate fantastically into illustration. The sharp teeth and spikes really give the character some edge!
